This blouse was inspired by a persona I made of a young woman living in Paris. A girl that loves to read, has known hardships but is enjoying her life as a young professional. The blouse can be seen as sexy but professional and fun, but still functional. It is these contradictions that make the piece interesting.

The sleeves can be attached separately to create a unique look.

The text printed on the leather is that of the French novel The Perfume, a story about a man that is obsessed by the scent of women and tries to make perfume out of it, killing the women in the proses. This story ties the blouse back to the tragedy, romance, and obsession that can come with special talent. It is a reminder to lose yourself, but not too much.
